Is music the secret of sustainability? What if we used a guitar-tuner-sort-of-tool that could transmit pitch and rhythm into design details, like volume, shape, and proportion that were then used to 3D print our clothes? The emotional connection between our favourite songs (especially the ones that trigger dopamine, that give you a rush of coolness through your limbs) and our clothes could secure value in what we wear. 3D printing could be done at home with filaments made from up-cycled materials (some of which we have at home already, see Nike +Milk), thus saving energy (our own, and transportation) on travel to-and-from stores. These stores would no longer need to be open, which would let up expensive leases to be available instead for housing.
